Youth Definition - Who are our Bloomies OR youth?

Bloom Day has been curated for youth (ages 13-25). Unfortunately, we are not accepting participants under the age of 13. If you are 26 and older, you are more than welcome to join us! The Bloom Squad is in this category and we are already excited to be inspired from our amazing speakers.

What do I need to bring?

Bloom Day is a paper free event - we recommend bringing your phone to access our digital agenda. Being mindful of the environment, we ask that all Bloomies bring their own re-useable water bottle. There will be snacks and water stations to refill your bottle over the day, however we encourage you to eat before coming. Having lunch before the event is very important as you will need your energy to get you through the big day. Note: Bloom Day check-in starts at 11:30am. You should also be prepared to take lots of photos throughout the day.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing clothes that you feel comfortable moving and dancing in. We will have hands-on workshops that require you to dance. Bloom Day is a 6 hour event and we want to make sure you feel confident and prepared for all workshops.

Dance Teachers - I’m a dance teacher, can I come?

Dance teachers are important for Bloomies and mean a lot to us! We invite you to attend Bloom Day with your fellow dance teachers and your students. We promise you will be inspired for the year to come. *Please note that all dance teachers will need to purchase their own ticket for entry.

Parents Attendance - I want to attend with my child, can I do that?

Although this event is curated for youth, parents and guardians are welcome to attend. Our workshops are hands-on and we expect every attendee to participate fully. If you come, be ready to participate! *Please note that all parents and guardians will need to purchase their own ticket for entry.
