Jen Ray shares insights from her experiences to affirm that you can design a career and a life that is uniquely yours to enjoy. By following intuition, through mindful exploration and regular recalibration, each of us can forge our own futures and thrive in a way that benefits us in the now and generations to follow.


A little bit about Jen

A life-long learner, dedicated to translating artistic passion into purposeful action. Jen Ray and Dancinema are bi-coastal and international, producing dancefilms, workshops, and events including Cascadia Dance & Cinema Festival (Vancouver) and Capitol Dance & Cinema Festival (Washington, DC). Dancinema’s work has been selected for Dance Teacher Magazine, numerous festivals throughout North America, and has collaborated with The JaM Project on their productions at Dancerpalooza's 25Live! and The Kennedy Centre. Jen Ray s dedicated to cultivating well-rounded, critical-minded, and multi-talented individuals through the classes and events she offers. With nearly a decade of experience with young people as a dance instructor, choreographer, and more recently through Dancinema workshops and as a co- director of The JaM Youth Project, a pre-professional tap dance company. She is an Advisory Panel Member for YPAD: Youth Protection Advocates in Dance and is proud to be an active part of this initiative to keep youth happy, health and safe in dance while creating positive change in dance culture.
